Do you have a favorite notebook to write in? Preferably something not much smaller than 8.5 by 11 inches, lined, and that stays open.

@schlink yeah, it's a pad - figured you were looking for something with a binding and more standard rule but I find myself sketching diagrams in my notebooks so often I decided to give in to the diagrams full time :)
