I've spent more on concert merch that I've invariably lost than I like to admit but it was for a good cause that usually involved altered states of consciousness

I saw my share of national shows during high school. Before they built the Superdrum on UT Austin campus, we had to drive to San Antonio to the Hemisfair Arena, Houston or Dallas to see big shows. Once we could stay home, I spent many a night camped out at the box office of the Superdrum for front row tickets. The money made scalping paid for my entrance and supported my music addiction among others.
at least a dozen tour shirts have fallen into the "retained by ex" category along with innumerable CDs.
